Even though the Black Lives Matter movement started in the U.S., many countries from all over the world have shown their support in protesting against police brutality and systemic racism.

Most reports from around the globe show peace and solidarity, but, unfortunately, tempers flared and fights erupted yesterday in London when BLM activists clashed with Far-Right supporters who were leaving a rally in Westminster.

The man had been set upon the steps leading to the Royal Festival Hall before other protesters stepped in to protect him, Reuters journalists reported from the scene.

More than 100 people have been arrested during Saturday’s far-right protest in London for offenses including violent disorder, assaulting police officers, possession of a weapon, possession of class A drugs, intoxication, and disorderly breach of the peace, Scotland Yard said.
